Hi! My name is Angie, and I am on a mission! Health is my passion NOT my profession! I think health and beauty go hand in hand. I believe if you look good, you feel good and if you feel good, you look even better!
All I see around me, is chronic pain and illness, and death because of it, and frankly, it scares the (you know what) out of me! I don’t want to end up that way nor do I want to see my loved ones, friends and people I care about to end up that way either! Hence, the mission!
I am on the mission to learn as much as I possibly can about the TRUTH about everything and share it with whoever wants to know! I want to be in control of my body, my health and my mind!!! I want to learn both sides of the story and make up my mind, what I want to do with it and about it. Not what someone who’s only purpose, is to get me addicted to pharmaceuticals, tells me! Rebellious you may say, I call it POWER!
Learning about the food we eat, is paramount. How it’s grown, how it’s processed, where it comes from, I could go on and on, but I might scare you and you may not want to eat again! But that’s the point! It IS scary! and if you care about your body and what happens to it, You’ll want to know and do something about it too!
In the name of human advancement and technology, we constantly challenge our body’s with polluted, genetically modified and processed, so-called foods, and in the name of science, reach for a magic pill to make us better!
We have strayed so far from what is real, that we don’t even question, anymore. Most of us go on about our day, trusting everything that’s put in front of us. This goes for more than just food. We think if someone of authority or credentials says something is good for you, we blindly believe them. Even if, in the back of your own mind, you question, or have a funny feeling, you still go for it because everyone else does…..
I want to get back to the beginning. I want to understand my vessel and what drives it. I will do what ever it takes to keep myself as healthy as I can and continue to question what doesn’t make sense to me. I will eat less red meat and more raw food. I will concentrate on increasing my natural gut flora by taking probiotics and eating more fermented foods. I will try to keep off all simple carbs and sugar and eat lots of green vegetables and salads. I will work on making excercise part of my normal routine.
I will ENJOY doing it, even if I fall off the wagon from time to time, because…… I’m in control!
